    Several years ago I was involved in founding Busk Pittsburgh, a project to encourage street performers (buskers) in the city. We talked with city gov't., police, building owners and buskers.

    There are still buskers staying in touch via the internet, but funds were very limited so we didn't have the capacity to get it as well established as we'd hoped.
