Weekly Astrology Insight: April 26 - May 2

Monday April 26, A few confusing aspects in the earlier hours could have us feeling a bit uncertain about our day. Mercury retrograde will also have his say in this, playing tricks with our minds, disrupting our ability to make good, conscious decisions. Before making choices or taking action, be sure to take some quality time to go over facts to avoid any possible misunderstandings.

Pinched for time, we're challenged to find a peaceful balance in our course of action, but change is not always easy. The traditional values that Saturn grounds us with, are put through a test when opposed with the impulsive changes that Uranus delivers at 7:23pm, to reform the old, with the new. Some of us may have already felt the stress increasing over the past weeks and/or months. As tension continues to build, something could snap, if it hasn't already. Chaos and unexpected shifts in the world, as well as in our life and relationships may occur, and times are changing, as it waits for no one. What may have been at odds or avoided in your circle, will now experience a force to be reckoned with. Saturn had been retrograde in Libra (personal and professional relationships) but has recently entered Virgo (our service to others, work, health, pets). These areas may be experiencing sensitivities and much strain as Pluto is also retrograde, digging and removing the REAL culprit of damage. Even though Saturn is retrograde, he's still looking out for our best interest, encouraging us to get it right' this time. 'Shape up or ship out', as it's for our own good. It's similar to when we've experienced a painful sore that just won't heal. We keep covering it up with a band-aid, but there is no change. Finally Uranus comes along as our 'wake up call', unexpectedly rips off the bandage and tells us that we need to change in our game. The Libra Moon helps us to make sense of what is happening, as we set our emotions on the side. We may not get what we want - but in a way we do - which is how the Universe rolls.

Tuesday April 27, Moon enters Scorpio 6:28pm, and we'll feel a need to withdraw and experience the emotions that we're tapped into. We may feel as if something is being pulled away from us as we begin to discharge negative forces, but the heavy weight of tomorrow's blistering Full Moon may simply be magnifying emotional pressures - reflecting our own desire to retreat. Mercury retrograde fumbles with our perspective, so we could struggle between our feelings and common sense. The necessity to let go of drama let's us step back to do a little self-nurturing. Find time to meditate, so that unhealthy suspicions can be cleansed.

March 2010 Pittsburgh Horoscope Happenings!

Astrological Happenings! We started our magical journey into psychedelic Pisces in the past few weeks. Some may have become enchanted with this interesting energy that seems to be making life and relationship so easy right now, seeing one rainbow after another. Others may have become more confused along their path, as if they have walked into a fog and can no longer determine what direction that they are headed. Astrological Happenings Horoscope, December 2009

Uranus, the 'Awakener' finally stations on December 1st, and prepares to turn forward and continue on his courageous journey! During the past few months of his REtrograde, he encouraged us to temporarily internalize our aspirations and dreams - so that we could follow our own dreams and find our own uniqueness again. This process was to help 're-awaken' our individual spirit and to reconnect with our original purpose - rather than blending in and following the crowd. As Uranus held his reins tightly on us for the past few months, we may have experienced more solitude or loneliness (depending on your perspective). The main goal was to help us to re-think and re-shape our mission and individual calling. We needed to learn about our own resistance to change, and to REdiscover our own individuality. Uranus was also busy doing the backstroke through mystical Pisces, and we may have received our own messages of insight regarding compassion and the power of forgiveness, so that we could do our own changing and let go of past. These vibrations of course helped to promote self-healing as well as humanity for others, and for the world. This 'waiting game' is an opportunity to detach ourselves from our emotions, with an option to REevaluate our intentions, like 'be careful of what we wish for'. So whatever has been 'on hold' in our life since July, there was a reason, and it was our chance to re-invent ourselves. To be the change that we want to see the in the world.

Today we will feel the reins unleashed us again, allowing us to carry on with our lives again, but with a new force of motivation! We have a new vision in mind of what we can change in our life now, but we must follow our own beam of light to make it happen. So in the near future, expect to see some big changes in ourselves, our relationship with others, and in the world! I should add that Uranus is the rebel who shocks the world for a bigger and better cause... so be prepared for a few big surprises in the coming weeks ahead!

In the Tarot, Uranus is represented in the message of The Fool. In this image, a new chapter is ready to unfold in the life of the Fool. Walking along without a care in the world, the Fool may be considered 'quite foolish' or 'brilliant' as he strays from the safety of his space on the hillside - to walk off the cliff and wander into the 'unknown'. Our desires and needs shift from the darker world of Scorpio, and come out into the open, as Venus enters expansive Sagittarius December 1. There are no games with truthful Sag. Love is spread in big way, because it makes us feel good - and because we can! In Sagittarius, we aim to give big and generously, as we know how much we actually get back from it! Sagittarius is the traveler, so many of us will add traveling to our plans to spread the cheer. Sag also represents our belief system, religion, and philosophy and we may feel the need to reconnect with others (or ourselves) in a grand way. Venus (Relationships and Money) has great potential when she meets up with the abundant world of Sagittarius, so we could see our partnerships and finances take a BIG turn for the better. Unfortunately, Sag is also a risk-taker and can be known to be quite irresponsible and frivolous with the funds, so enjoy the blessings - but try not to take it for granted! Have fun, but invest wisely!

Communications and friendship come out strong for us during the Full Moon in Gemini on December 2. The Full Moon shines brightly and lights up the darker areas in our life - rejuvenating negativity into positive light, love, and truth. Allow this moon to see life and others as they are - rather than how you hoped it would be. Communications also become more reserved as Mercury enters serious Capricorn on December 5. Our thoughts become more focused about family, money, and tradition. We are leaving the 'tall tales' of Sagittarius behind, to concentrate on how we can structure our ideas and profit from them too. During this holiday time of sharing, we could begin to put a tighter hold on our wallets (Cappy can be pretty stingy), while communicating the real message behind love and the 'gift of giving'. Astrological Happenings for July 2009

July's hot temperatures begin to heat things up in our relationships with family, friends, and romantic interests. Independent Uranus starts the month with his retrograde journey on 07/01, and we may find ourselves craving more freedom from our existing connections, to do some personal soul searching. We'll be looking for new inspiration and change in our lives, and we set sail on an inner journey to find it. Mercury enters Cancer 07/03, and subconsciously we're sending out mixed signals to loved ones. Emotional connections may become confusing, because while we crave a deeper love than what we are receiving, we may show our dissatisfaction if it's not what we thought it would be - and rebel in the opposite direction. Emotional turbulence may be likely if we all aren't on the same page. It's another form of 'push-me, pull you' behavior. We want closeness, but as we attract it, we pull away from it. Shifts in our attitudes will more than likely introduce us to new individuals, while loved ones might feel left out in the cold. This is a critical time to express what is internalizing to avoid any miscommunications. It's also a time to get in touch with our higher selves, especially for what we aren't receiving from others.

Venus enters Gemini 07/05, We're wanting to reconnect with the outside world, and we're using our creativity and confidence to reach goals. Blending friends of old and new, help steer our course of direction. A Lunar Eclipse and Full moon in Capricorn brings full light to our search (as well as an inner sight) in more grounded forms, while providing us with the stepping stones to secure our findings. Mars in Gemini 07/11, We are now extending ourselves outside of the circle (and outside of ourselves), careless as to what others might think. A force rises in expressing ourselves, and if not controlled, it can become aggressive and antagonizing. Our communication skills out-shadow alternative methods. We're determined to make things happen now. Ideas that we have been internalizing begin to burst, bringing life and sparkle back into our eyes! Relationships and social engagements begin merging once again, as we express our objectives. We are magnetized to those who wish us well and bring out the best in us, and we do not have much guilt by leaving others behind. Mercury enters Leo 07/17, Our mind encourages us to rise and take control. We're enjoying new attention and fresh adventures. We're at a place mentally, where we do not acknowledge fear, and we dare to take chances, to get what we want. New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Cancer 07/21, A new emotional phase, to nurture and give love to others, but also to ourselves. Some of us may be much more sensitive to this energy, and privatize what we are experiencing. Other could feel more comfortable and willing to share the love, unconditionally. Whatever we have fought and worked hard for, we will find ourselves very protective over, whether that be winning a heart of another, a new position at our work, or possibly securing our own sacred space. Sun enters Leo 07/22, We're confident and comfortable about what we are accomplishing, and we shine. We'll be thinking much more serious about the way we are looking to others, and we will either do a physical or fashion makeover - to get noticed by a love interest or by our superiors at work.

Venus enters Cancer 07/31 and she motivates us to expect more compassion and love from other's, to replenish what we have provided. Even though there is much activity around us, we may secretly find ways to seclude ourselves from others, to nurture our own soul and inner child! This energy turned inward can be a tremendous force of movement in the work field. Focus on what we're doing, and not on what others are doing or saying to keep this vibration fueled! Imagination and spending time with favorable childhood memories feed us new creative sparks!
