Obama visits Pittsburgh this Monday

You better not pout, I'm telling you why:

Obama's coming to town...

Date: Monday, October 27, 2008

Time: doors open at 3, Obama's scheduled to speak at 5 p.m.

Location: Mellon Arena, 66 Mario Lemieux Place, 15219

Cost: Free & open to the public

    I posted the news of Obama's visit also at about 3:30 -- but after that I wished dearly I changed the photo and the title to a Santa theme. When I could next get to my computer, I rushed to it to do the edit.

    Then later I surf over to your site and see you did it too.

    I will say this real quick -- if an exponential degree of wealth is concentrated at the far reaches of the scale, it only makes sense that more people will come out net ahead under a progressive shift in taxation. The theory is that the encouragement of a self-sustaining middle class is the best way to strengthen the economy long-term.
