CCAC Looking for Speakers on Women

Good afternoon! It is my pleasure to be writing to you on behalf of the Department of Student Life at CCAC’s South Campus in regards to our Women’s History Month Activities.

We are currently seeking speakers, presenters, athletes, artists, and so forth that may be willing to travel to our campus and spend time with our students. Topics that we have a special interest in are:
- Women in the arts
- Women in sports/ title IX (this semester we are excited to be offering softball and basketball for women as new programs)
- Pay equity
- Women and violence, with an emphasis on the historical conditions that have contributed to violence against women
- Young women/men and their need to understand women’s history
- Women and environmental advocacy

If anyone could be of assistance, could refer us, or knows of other organizations that would be able to refer us we would appreciate any kind of assistance. We are open to a wide range of presentation styles and topics!

Many thanks, Tara Zirkel Director of Student Life

  1. I would like to propose that you consider my boss for your conference. Ms. Moreo is the author of "You Are More Than Enough: Every Woman's Guide to Purpose, Passion, and Power" and it's companion "Achievement Journal". She is an incredible speaker who has worked with women's groups in 26 countries. Her speaking style is down-to-earth and her information practical and can be put to use immediately in young women's lives. If you would like to know more about her, please go to www.judimoreo.com, www.youaremorethanenough.com, or call me at (702) 896-2228.

    Thank you for considering her.

  2. A colleague of mine past on your post and thought I would be a perfect fit.

I am the current reigning Mrs NJ American Queen. At the age of almost 45 years old I entered my first pageant and won. The platform is DASH "Domestic Abuse Stops Here". It is a educational program for High School and College girls educating them about healthy relationships. If the education can start now perhaps it will keep women from getting into an unhealthy relationship in the first place.

I have been a Wife 23 Years, a mom of 7 kids ages 22-7. I care for one of my children who is severely disabled, National Speaker, Published Writer, Professional Executive Corporate & Personal Empowerment Coach; Founder and Owner of "Restoring Life Today"

My heart is to use my own story to inspire them then give them the tools to inspire themselves. To change that, “stinking thinking”, through the tools of Coaching and they have always wanted.

Education: *Certified Empowerment Coach *Certified Energy Leadership Coach *BA in Church Ministries *Studies in Aeronautical Engineering and Aviation, *Completion of Ground School * Certified Negro-Linguistic Practitioner *Graduate student: Masters of Theology, thesis just completed.

Career Ambition: To continue to encourage, empower and equip people, to give them hope. I love helping them get from where they are to where they want to be. I especially find it rewarding to help people living in a cycle of to break free, from disfunction and to make healthy choices and not become a victim.

To learn more go to RestoringLifeToday.com, you can also go to the top of the web page and click on speaking to see where I have spoken before.

    Thanks,
